You Have: 

  • 2+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting DoD or IC programs
  • Experience with conducting system-level trade studies to identify and balance conflicting requirements
  • Experience with requirements derivation, definition, verification, and validation
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 acquisition processes, system program office operations, and INCOSE systems engineering principles
  • Ability to analyze systems design, integration, and testing activities
  • TS/SCI clearance 
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

Nice If You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting DoD or IC programs
  • Knowledge of rapid prototyping and middle tier of acquisition processes
  • Ability to prepare engineering strategies, assist with project budget estimates, develop work breakdown structures, build program schedules, and manage engineering processes that support timely delivery of required technical artifacts
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph 
  • Master's degree in Engineering 
  • INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP certifications
  • OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
