As a Combat Identification Expert, you will provide operational expertise to combat identification technology developers. You will research and analyze operational impacts of emergent combat identification (CID) technologies on Air Force tactical air platforms. You'll prepare briefings and reports on advanced techniques and technologies, and you will guide development activities to meet Air Force warfighter requirements for CID. Your main contribution will be providing a tactical air platform operational perspective to technical developers to ensure advanced CID technologies can be implemented consistent with United States Air Force doctrine. You will primarily work on client site at Langley AFB and travel to military and vendor locations as needed for collaboration with the client and technical team.

You Have:
6+ years of experience operating military cooperative identification systems
Experience with Air Force operation of Mark XIIB IFF
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience as aircrew operating 5th Generation fighter aircraft
Experience planning or executing tactical operations for 5th Generation fighter aircraft
Experience as functional staff, including on a Service or Combatant Command Staff
Knowledge of project financials
Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process
Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in written and verbal communications
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on research findings, technical developments, and other information to a wide range of external audiences
Ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
