Business Analyst

The Opportunity:

Here, you’ll have the chance to work with an agile team as they develop digital products to support your clients’ most pressing missions. We’re looking for someone like you to implement business analytics and processes, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.  

 

As an IT business analyst, you’ll work with the Chief Architect to review technical product and programs to ensure they are performant, cost-effective, and in alignment with agency enterprise architecture. Working with your team of business analysts, and along side solution architects and technical SME's you'll help identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll learn to understand the overall direction of the agency and support technology change management. Together, you'll support the modernization of an agency's technical landscape delivering better mission outcomes.

You Have: 

  • Experience in developing software requirements, use cases, and supporting documentation

  • Experience working in cross-functional, Agile teams on technical projects that support business objectives or mission operations

  • Experience working in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery

  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, comprehend the intent of a client's needs, and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities

  • DHS Suitability

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience supporting the evaluation of technical products

  • Experience with cyber security terminology and process

  • Experience with facilitating stakeholder interviews and creating personas, user journeys, and user observations

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Top Secret Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,600.00 to $87,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
