Test Engineer

The Opportunity: 

As a Test Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with developers and end users to evaluate software developed for the Veterans Administration. You’ll build a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and execute the test cases to see how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor health of Selenium. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test the code.

You Have:

• Experience as a QA Tester or Test Engineer working with Selenium

• Experience in project management and QA methodology

• Knowledge of test management software, including Jira, Rational, or SQL

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing

• CMMI Maturity Level 3, ISO 9001:2015 or 9001:2001, or ITIL Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
