Health Services Exercise Plans Analyst

The Opportunity: 

As a defense mission professional, you'll develop comprehensive medical plans that support our operational goals and international collaborations by shaping health service support for complex operations and leading medical planning efforts to ensure seamless integration with our partners' health services.

As a Health Services Exercise Plans Analyst, you’ll bring your analytic and technical acumen to design readiness guides, training integration plans, and resource assessments that strengthen prevention, protection, and treatment capabilities across the force. In high-impact scenarios, you’ll craft casualty evacuation concepts, optimize asset placement, and coordinate with allied and civilian partners to ensure mission success. You'll bring medical expertise into every phase of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle—producing medical annexes, injects, risk assessments, and after-action reports that drive real-world improvement.

You’ll impact the work we do for our health services mission partner and the solutions we deliver for to identify gaps, solve complex challenges, and influence operational outcomes through strategic medical planning.


Your work will result in high-visibility deliverables, including decision briefs, white papers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and presentations delivered to senior leaders and mission partners. You Have:  

  • 10+ years of experience in Health Service Support within the DoD

  • 8+ years of experience in military medical planning within the DoD

  • 2+ years of experience using DoD medical planning tool, including the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and the Medical Planner's Tool Kit (MPTK)

  • Knowledge of the military organization and culture of joint US Forces and partner allies in the INDOPAC region

  • Knowledge of the Military Health System (MHS), service medical operational capabilities, and doctrine, and defense networks for information gathering, including NIPR, SIPR, and CENTRIX

  • Ability to independently produce professional quality written, verbal, and digital products utilizing Microsoft 360 products Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI and PowerApps with minimal corrections needed

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior flag and general officers

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience as a Plans, Operations, and Medical Intelligence specialist

  • Ability to utilize the Joint Medical Planning Toolkit

  • Graduate of the Expeditionary Warfare School or Command and Staff College

  • Completion of the Joint Medical Operations Course

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
