Technical Aircraft Program Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to aircraft and avionics systems, test processes, and culture. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, contract management, systems engineering, or defense acquisition
  • Experience with integrating activities across functional teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the military space aircraft systems
  • Experience with the DoD acquisition system and AF acquisition processes
  • Experience with managing system development programs, including schedule and risk management
  • Experience with aircraft nuclear certification process
  • MA or MS degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II Certification or higher
