Enterprise Architect

Key Role:

Design and develop solution architecture artifacts, in accordance with the DoD specifications and DoD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA), while analyzing client requirements and collaborating with R&D divisions to provide ongoing support. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise for Business Process Reengineering (BPR). Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentor and may supervise team members. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with using the DoDAF to develop fit-for-purpose architecture artifacts for solution or enterprise architecture efforts
  • 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA) modeling and visualization tools, including developing and maintaining EA artifacts, such as capability, operational, system, data, and service viewpoints
  • 2+ years of experience with applying BPR and business process modeling using Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN)
  • 2+ years of experience with using common architecture development tools , including System Architect, Magic Draw, Sparx, such as managing roles and permission, ad hoc reporting, configuration management, and developing architecture artifacts
  • Secret clearance required
  • BA or BS degree in Business, IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or Computer Science

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise architecture or technical role in IT (SDLC)
  • Experience with presenting technical and non-technical briefs to Senior leadership
  • Experience with using ARIS
  • Experience with using Microsoft suite of products to include Visio
  • Ability to leverage excellent collaboration skills
  • Ability to produce deliverables and manage tasks using agile approach (e.g. quick wins and ability to show results in 4 to 5 weeks)
  • Knowledge of the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA)
  • Knowledge of the Army BEA
