Requirements Manager

Key Role:

Interact with key stakeholders and client groups in helping to capture, document, analyze, and review requirements. Conduct requirements gathering sessions to solicit business rules and understand business stakeholder requests. Work with project leads to incorporate requirements into project plans. Analyze the design, development, and maintenance of system documentation, including User Stories, Use Cases, and Requirements plan. Understand user and system requirements, perform analysis independently and in collaboration with stakeholders and team, and use appropriate tools and methodologies to elicit, create, and document detailed functional and technical requirements. Analyze complex business rules and perform impact analysis for user-requested changes. Update monthly, weekly, and periodic project deliverables as well as respond to data call requests. Support User Acceptance Testing and Integration Testing efforts and perform system testing when required. Help the project leads coordinate across multiple partner teams for complex integration efforts. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Systems IT Requirements working as a member of full life cycle development teams in large projects in support of mission-critical programs

  • Experience in engaging key stakeholders in all aspects of software life cycle activities

  • Experience as an analyst providing in-depth requirement analysis and drafting and receiving approval for new requirements, including technical review and validation of requirements

  • Experience with describing necessary functionality, prioritizing needs, and developing actionable, measurable, and testable requirements

  • Experience with using Agile methods and processes 

  • Experience working with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting systems related to data services, enterprise search, and data analytics

  • Ability to work relatively independently to self-manage timelines and self-review work products

  • Ability to work in a large complex environment with multiple project teams, technical and non-technical staff, and key stakeholders

  • Ability to support peer reviews and reviews of SDLC products and artifacts

  • Ability to translate complex data and business rules into functional, data requirements

  • Ability to create process flow diagrams and data flow diagrams using MS Visio

  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
