Healthcare Improvement Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Applies a broad understanding of the analysis process for performance, procedures and processes of complex health systems to improve both efficiency and effectiveness and address priority operational challenges. These professionals advise on the delivery of operational solutions and ongoing performance management to help achieve operational excellence, quality and safety. This applies to a spectrum of operational environments across the provider, payer, research and life science and public health segments. May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Typically requires: Bachelor's; 8+ years of related professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with safety, quality, or patient experience improvement initiatives, including planning, implementing, and evaluating large-scale performance improvement efforts in a hospital or health system

-2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment

-Experience with program evaluation and data analytics

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to be detail-oriented, flexible, proactive, and capable of multi-tasking

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as an RN, MD, PT, or another clinical capacity

-Experience in a direct client-facing consulting role and building trust with clients and excellent working relationships with onsite staff

-Experience with the MHS or directly with military leadership

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in Patient Safety Leadership

-Certified Professional in-Patient Safety (CPPS), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Organizational Development, Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement, or another Healthcare Patient Safety Certification
