Electrical and Computer Engineer Intern

Key Role:

Analyze the design, development, modification, and evaluation of complicated and difficult hardware devices or systems. Maintain technical responsibility for planning and conducting technical processes or phases of projects and coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, and electronics technicians, as required. Analyze and recommend design approaches for new or improved products or processes. Consolidate the results of hardware design elements for assigned projects. Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component, or process specifications and requirements. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital-based signal processing, filter design, and modulation
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Experience with C/C++ embedded software development
  • Experience with VHDL or Verilog
  • Experience with FPGA development and workflow
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree by Spring 2027

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with technical research
  • Experience with electronic warfare
  • Experience with RF circuit design
  • Experience with embedded GNU and Linux
  • Experience with printed circuit design
  • Ability to work with a team, participate in client meetings, and deliver presentations
  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $34,000.00 to $70,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
