Missile Modeling and Simulation Analyst

Key Role:

Research, design, develop, and test various types of aircraft, missiles, spacecraft, or ships and submersibles. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts; limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Perform a variety of classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients, and develop the detailed models and simulations required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with coding in one or more of the following, MATLAB, C++, or Fortran
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with engineering and mathematics
  • Experience with modeling and simulation
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with Simulink
  • Knowledge of flight dynamics and vehicle performance evaluation
  • Secret clearance
  • MA or MS degree
