Modeling and Simulation Analyst, Junior

As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll assess and evaluate combat weapon systems using computer-based analytical tools, including Excel, Matlab, and the AFSIM analytical framework. This is your chance to develop your skills in critical thinking, data analytics, and operations analysis while gaining mentoring and experience in constructive modeling and simulation of combat operations. You Have:

  • Experience performing analytical assessments of systems

  • Experience with Matlab, C++, or Perl

  • Ability to follow Operational Analysis principles, theories, and concepts to execute study plans and analysis matrices

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Fall/Winter 2021 or Spring/Summer 2022

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience performing constructive modeling and simulation assessments of combat weapon systems using the AFSIM framework

  • Knowledge of U.S. and foreign combat weapon systems, including aircraft, missiles, integrated defense systems

  • Knowledge of U.S. and foreign defense force Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs)

  • Ability to analyze large amounts of raw model output to identify key drivers

  • Ability to distill, summarize and articulate complex technical insights and findings

  • Secret clearance

  • Master's degree in STEM

Clearance:
