Air Ground Task Force Logistics Analyst

Key Role:

Assist in planning, coordinating, and assessing resources in support of Marine Corps supply and maintenance operations. Provide data analysis, troubleshoot supply and maintenance system operations, review related policies and procedures, and participate in assigned working groups as a subject matter expert (SME). Conduct data mining and analysis that recommends performance enhancements, processes, and procedures to maximize resource allocation. Provide recommendations for overall priorities, plans, policies, and oversight for Marine Corps supply and maintenance related issues to enhance the client's mission accomplishment. Contribute to critical material readiness analysis on unit equipment and supplies to determine operational readiness to support existing Contingency and Operations Plans (OPLANs). Provide liaison support and coordination of supply and maintenance modernization initiatives. Provide analysis and assessment of the processes and actions used to affect change within the client organization.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) ground supply or maintenance operations and procedures

  • 5+ years of experience with a regimental staff or above

  • Experience in Marine Corps supply, maintenance, and readiness reporting

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Supported Activity Supply System (SASSY) Management Unit (SMU) within the reparable issue point (RIP)

  • Knowledge of Federal, Department of Defense, and Marine Corps policies, programs, procedures, organizations, and functions as they relate to supply and maintenance management operations

  • Secret clearance

  • AA or AS degree and 12+ years of experience with Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) ground supply or maintenance operations and procedures or BA or BS degree or 10+ years of experience with Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) ground supply or maintenance operations and procedures

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with data management

  • Experience with the advanced level in Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL, and Oracle

  • Knowledge of the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP)

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
