Ground Combat/Fires LVC Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide fires and ground combat element support to Operational Force Marines in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environment (LVC-TE). Assist the client by identifying training gaps through detailed analysis and testing to provide solutions for existing USMC and DoD LVC simulations to meet specific training objectives. Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), planning conferences, including IPC, MPC, and FPC, and training cadre to develop LVC-TE training exercises, scenarios and products based on unit requirements. Assist with system integration to support training using virtual and constructive simulations, including DVTE, CACCTUS, TDK, and SAVT. Integrate and support training involving the use of the Aviation Distributed Virtual Training Environment (ADVTE), MAGTF Fires Integration Center (MFIC), the Operationally Adaptive Simulation Integration Space (OASIS), Battle Simulation Center (BSC), and other facilities. Support the client with the collection, input, and analysis of training and exercise data for use in defining future upgrades and follow on LVC-TE systems. Examine existing and emerging LVC-TE simulations, simulators, and training devices, available to the client to enhance tactical-level force generation of an air-ground team across the military operations range. 

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in the Marine Corps integrating fires with air and ground

-Experience with supporting ground combat and fire support training from individual through Division-level operations

-Knowledge of a Fire Support Coordination Center at the Infantry Regiment

-Knowledge of Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) in a fire support role at the Artillery Battery level

-Knowledge of using simulations for training, including the Supporting Arms Virtual Trainer (SAVT), Deployable Virtual Training Environment (DVTE), and Combined Arms Command and Control Upgrade System (CACCTUS)

-Ability to interact professionally with Marine ground combat element and other uniformed and Government Service personnel from Private to General Officer

-Ability to plan and work as a team with other contractors and government Service personnel to meet and exceed requirements to achieve mission success

-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to different Marine Corps and DoD bases

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Maritime Fires Integration in the Marine Expeditionary Unit

-Experience as a Forward Observer

-Experience in working with HIMARS

-Experience with MCTOG

-Knowledge of JADOCS and C2PC

-Knowledge of current and emerging training devices, including the Infantry Tactical Engagement Simulation System (ITESS), Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CVTESS), Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer (ISMT), and the MAGTF Fires Simulation Trainer (MFST) and their use in training.

-BA or BS degree

-Joint Terminal Attack Controller Qualification

-Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI)
