Joint Operations Action Officer

Key Role:
Manage and track the military order process, including receipt, status updates or in-progress reviews, and transmittal to internal or external organizations. Monitor the current status of forces, measure ongoing activities, and assist with identifying where situations deviate from approved plans. Support the routing of operational documents and orders, including preparing routing packets, reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, and transmitting signed or approved documents to complete the routing process. Support the client director in executing command and control authorities to ensure a Combatant Command is ready to conduct Joint operations to protect and defend and deliver assured theater and global effects in accordance with client intent and national objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with command and control, including Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), satellite communications (SATCOM), space control, missile warning, or space situational awareness

-Ability to identify and resolve challenges at a strategic level

-Ability to brief and interact with senior-level civilian and GO or Flag-level officers

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting a Combatant Command operations center

-Experience with technical operations
