As an entry level systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to engineer model-based systems to support a wide variety of customer missions. Your technical expertise will be vital as you implement model-based approaches and tools to help client delivery teams’ transition to model-based system architectures. You’ll develop your skills in model-based systems engineering and digital engineering while gaining experience with test range and enterprise networking technologies. Grow your skills by merging technical leadership and systems engineering to create system models and robust system architectures for development, implementation, and sustainment. You Have:

  • Knowledge of requirements collection methods
  • Knowledge of DoD/INCOSE systems engineering processes
  • Knowledge of DoD architecture standards and frameworks
  • Knowledge of the practical applications of UML or SysML implementations
  • Ability to work with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, including MagicDraw/Cameo or Sparx Enterprise Architect to develop and document UML or SysML system architectures
  • Ability to use Agile Sprints to operate in a fast-paced development environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics required

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering methodology (MBSE)
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java or Python
  • Knowledge of other SE disciplines, including configuration management, risk management, cybersecurity, and certification processes
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff effectively, including internal staff, senior leadership, and government customer at the client site
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Secret clearance preferred
  • MA or MS degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics preferred
  • OCSMP Model User Certification
