Financial Analyst

The Opportunity:

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure the Department of Defense’s resources can make the most impact.

On our team, you'll assist government program managers in developing program documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, performing risk assessments, and managing integrated product teams. You'll analyze the program and budget and justify the resources, including manpower and funding, to support strategic plans. You'll assist in the execution of the appropriated resources to support the day-to-day mission activities and perform statistical and graphical analysis on various aspects of resources management. You'll also advise management on the regulatory aspects of resource management to avoid violations, including anti-deficiency and misappropriation of resources.

You’ll assist with the compilation and reporting of programs and budgets, preparing financial presentations and other materials. You’ll prepare tasking requests, point papers, briefing charts, spreadsheets, memos, and other documents within prescribed timelines for Government review, and assist in the development and maintenance of funding profiles for programs, projects, or contracts. You’ll assist in the creation of budget or financial planning for an organization, organizational unit, program, or expenditure or cost center to identify potential variances, and assist in monitoring expenses against budgets.

At Booz Allen, we recognize that we must continuously grow as a team to bring the best support to our clients, so here you’ll have all the resources to succeed and grow your expertise. This is a chance to directly impact a meaningful mission while broadening your skills in program strategy.

Work with us and ensure our customer accomplishes its project goals within budget as we support strategic plans.
