Key Role:
Provide strategy development and policy analysis to support the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Act, to promote the meaningful participation of women in overseas conflict prevention, management, resolution, and relief and recovery. Coordinate with the Joint Staff and Command Directorates to support planning efforts, as appropriate, create plans, and coordinate and make recommendations to integrate into client plans, the requirements, targets, and priorities of the WPS initiative. Review drafts of plans and updates to plans, frameworks, legislation, development documents, and similar issuances for correctness and consistency with the client and DoD goals and make specific recommendations for change, if applicable. Participate in boards, committees, and working groups with the Joint Staff, DoD, and DHS on matters related to cyberspace operations and WPS to assist with the analysis of the Command strategy and policy. Support all client staff elements for the interpretation and application of cyberspace operations strategy and policy to the Command mission.
Basic Qualifications:
-15 years of experience with developing command-level strategy, planning, and policy
-Experience in working with senior military service or Joint Staff, including supporting senior military and civilians
-Ability to make recommendations to integrate requirements, targets, and priorities of Federal Acts into Command plans
-Ability to pay strict attention to detail
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in supporting DoD operations, strategy, policy, or planning with Service, Joint, non-DoD organizations, or foreign nations
-Knowledge of military processes, methodologies, and orders
-Ability to determine if a campaign plan captures and describes an approach to implementing guidance from higher echelons, including national and military strategies and policy documents
-Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
Clearance:
