Decision Support Analyst

Key Role:

Work within Booz Allen Hamilton's decision support (DS) knowledge management (KM) team to refine processes, develop governance, and implement technical applications in support of the client’s mission. Conduct data gathering, process mapping, and analysis activities with clients to identify critical workflow challenges. Build out-of-the-box (OOTB) solutions using SharePoint Designer as well as code-based solutions using client-side development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements and apply their technical knowledge to recommend solutions with consideration for best practices, cost, and timeline. Create and manage client deliverables, including briefings, technical applications, and analytical products. Leverage industry best practices in knowledge management and digital transformation. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with knowledge management and digital transformation
  • 4+ years of experience with developing OOTB and using code-based solutions, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for SharePoint 2013 or later
  • 3+ years of experience with SharePoint or SharePoint Online (SPO) and Power Apps, including Flow or PowerBI to create workflows and customize SharePoint lists, libraries, and pages
  • Ability to conduct data gathering, research, and analysis, design and develop recommendations, and communicate through briefings and written documents
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical design artifacts and requirements documentation
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Secret clearance 
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Experience with multiple functional areas within business management consulting, including human capital, change management, performance management, strategic planning, or IT requirements analysis preferred
  • Experience with delivering solutions in an Agile or Agile-related manner
  • Knowledge of the US military structure and organizational processes
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge Management, Business Process Reengineering or Change Management Certifications, including CKM, Lean Six Sigma, CMAP, and LaMarsh Managed Change preferred
