Digital Aerospace Engineer

Key Role:

Translate real-world needs into technical specifications as an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution. Engage in model-based systems engineering (MSBE) or digital engineering endeavors for NASA projects and data centers. Analyze relevant NASA requirements and needs to develop architectures using advanced digital architecture tools. Consult with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and clients to uncover insight, answer key questions, and support informed decision-making related to NASA systems and services. Prepare and present engineering analysis, implications, and recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience as an aerospace engineer, systems engineer, software engineer, or related technical profession, including relevant internships

-Knowledge of aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or software engineering

-Ability to analyze complex system requirements, properties, connections, interfaces, and resource flows

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a NASA intern

-Experience with NoMagic MagicDraw, Sparx Enterprise Architect, IBM Rhapsody, or similar digital engineering tools

-Knowledge of MBSE principles

-Knowledge of System Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML)

-MA or MS degree in Engineering
