Asymmetric Warfare Trainer/Facilitator

Key Role:

Ensure unity of the command in supporting Training Readiness Authority (TRA) by developing individual and collective counter-IED (C-IED) asymmetrical warfare (AW) training strategies and incorporating multiple assets. Coordinate garrison and state activities to improve C-IED or AW training facilities and ranges and employ training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations (TADSS). Assess, update, and deliver C-IED or AW training and associated products. Coordinate with Commanders and assist units with planning virtual and live C-IED or AW training. Execute specialized C-IED or AW education and training for attack the network (AtN), Electronic Warfare (EW), Biometrics (BX), Site Exploitation (SE), and Mobility Operations. Synchronize arrival, sustainment, and prioritization for standard and non-standard C-IED or AW equipment and training resources. Assist with planning virtual and live C-IED or AW training across multiple sites and provide continuity and expertise that enables awareness and the effective use of assets to support C-IED or AW training.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with leading and coordinating training

-Experience in the C-IED field

-Experience with integrating assets into exercises

-Experience with collective training events and scenario development

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Completion of a foundational instructor or facilitator course, including US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Army Basic Instructor Course, Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Certification, or ability to complete the Booz Allen Facilitator Training Course and Certification within 120 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Army National Guard

-Experience as an Observer Controller (OC)

-Experience conducting and writing After Action Reviews (AAR)

-Experience with mobility operations, including route clearance and handheld detectors

-BA or BS degree
