Infrastructure Plans and Requirements Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a staff strategic advisory analyst and analyze, organize, and assess government Military Construction (MILCON), exercise-related construction, and other government agency construction efforts that the enhance readiness and survivability of Air Component warfighters in the execution of their missions in the Indo-Pacific region. Provide Command-level long-range planning, infrastructure improvement, and air base resiliency recommendations to decision makers, including resource allocation of military funding streams and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and advise on private sector funding initiative strategies that strengthen the Air Force's posture efforts in the Indo-Pacific region. Integrate efforts into USINDOPACOM theater posture plans and roadmaps, force movement CONOPS, campaign support plans, and site survey prioritization. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, conferences, and planning teams. Coordinate with OSD, USINDOPACOM, service components, foreign counterparts, and Air Force forces.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with the Military Construction (MILCON) process, facilities planning, and infrastructure improvement 

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

-Experience as staff at the NAF, PACAF, or Combatant Command level

-Knowledge of the PACOM AOR and Force Posture Planning Concepts, including Forces, Footprints, and Agreements

-Ability to lead and facilitate military OPTs

-Ability to work collaboratively with other services and foreign governments and militaries

-Ability to brief high-level program initiatives at the Combatant Command level

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with rated aviation preferred

-Knowledge of Air Force organization, tasks, operational capabilities, concepts of operations, and training requirements

-Knowledge of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process

-Knowledge of Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE)

-Top Secret clearance preferred

-MA or MS degree preferred
