Open Source Intelligence Analyst, Lead

As a Lead Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst, you use your specialized technical, regional, and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop intelligence, products, and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. As a Lead OSINT Analyst on our team, you’ll manage a team of analysts as they help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll advise your client on new data sources and tradecraft, as your team builds assessments for targeters, warfighters, and policy makers. As the authority on your mission, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to broaden your skillset into areas like scripting, data science, and automation. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to help your customers meet their toughest analytic challenges. You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience managing and coordinating intelligence operational environments, mission management, or collection management

  • 5+ years of experience working as an OSINT analyst in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on the production of intelligence analysis

  • Experience leading OSINT tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, analysis, and dissemination processes

  • Experience with advanced search techniques, information databases, data visualization, and related tools

  • Knowledge of a wide range of OSINT concepts, principles, and practices, and national and service-specific OSINT policy, operations, tasking, and procedures and regulations

  • Ability to utilize commercially available unclassified analysis toolsets

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with INDOPACOM Intelligence problem sets

  • Experience working with multiple intelligence disciplines including HUMINT, IMINT, GEOINT, SIGINT or OSINT and a fundamental understanding of the data and tools these disciplines utilize

  • Experience leading teams of analysts of various sizes and skill levels with the ability to lead, mentor, and teach more junior analysts

  • Ability to leverage existing applications or methods and provide input into the development of new applications that improve products or methods

  • Ability to collaborate and innovate to solve problems

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree preferred: Master's degree a plus

  • Completion of a OS301/302, CASO, Cyber Signature Reduction (CSR) 1; CSR2 and Virtual Operations Training Course or other Intelligence Community (IC)-recognized OSINT analysis certification course
