Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Engineer

Key Role:

Provide full life cycle engineering, from requirements to in-service support and system assessment of U.S. Navy elements at national test ranges. Identify, investigate, mitigate and test for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). Support the client which is responsible for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) lifecycle system engineering and assessment. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Engineering and Science (E&S), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), or Science and Technology (S&T)

  • 4+ years of experience with Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), EMI, or EMC Testing, EMI problem investigation, EMI/EMC analysis and assessment, EMI PMS, USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP), EMI Control and Mitigation, Spectrum, EMC, RADHAZ, or EMI Control Measure Drawings

  • 3+ years of experience in RF Engineering, EMP, E3, E3 Computation and RF Simulation, or PCI Testing

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 95,000 to 105,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
