Machine Learning Engineer

Key Role:

Develop innovative machine learning software solutions, from the ground up, to the federal governments most complex problems. Implement clever combinations of machine learning, automation, and artificial intelligence systems to provide real value to government client, transforming their supply chain operations and maintenance processes. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and provide federal clients with a full view industry knowledge. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Apply broad domain expertise to comprehend data origins and provide actionable results and implement in-line with government objectives and key results. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the ­­­U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, spaCy, or Amazon SageMaker
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing
  • Experience with of machine learning algorithms
  • Knowledge of statistical measures, including confidence intervals and significance of error measurements and developing and evaluating data sets
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cognitive Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Neuroscience, or Supply Chain

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with designing and developing software applications
  • Experience with developing statistical and simulation models
  • Experience in natural language processing topics, including tagging, syntactic parsing, word sense disambiguation, topic modeling, contextual text mining, or application of deep learning to NLP
  • Experience with developing experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes and using excellent baselines
  • Experience with supporting the Department of Defense
  • Experience with project leadership
  • Ability to accurately determine cause and effect relationships
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cognitive Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or Computational Neuroscience preferred; Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cognitive Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or Computational Neuroscience a plus

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 90,000 to 140,000.
