Software Engineer

That’s because you’re a software architect who specializes in implementing process automation with machine learning under the hood. What if you could use those skills to improve the software technology supporting the federal agencies, including the department of defense? Developing software solutions, using the latest applied technologies, that accelerate their supply chain and maintenance processes.

On our team, you'll translate your customer’s software needs and future goals into a plan by developing and implementing an effective core architecture for machine learning solutions that are used across multiple organizations. You’ll use the latest software control systems like Github, AWS, and Python to design an effective software architecture. Your technical expertise will be vital as you lead the building of the architecture for core natural language processing and computer vision capabilities wrapped in a shell for client customized services, balancing core technology with client requests for customization..

In this role, you’ll directly impact the supply chain and maintenance process for federal agencies and the Department of Defense by changing manual process to Artificial Intelligence enabled processes with human-in-the-loop review your advanced technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, you’ll guide a team that develops the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software, Solutions, or Enterprise Architect
  • Experience with Python, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle or Agile fundamentals
  • Knowledge of common programming design patterns and best practices
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience in Department of Defense
  • Experience with configuration, deployment, and testing of software applications
  • Experience with client-facing situations, including presenting complex technical concepts and designs to a variety of audience
  • Experience with developing and implementing a business development plan to identify new opportunities, mature relationships, develop intellectual capital and proposals, and capture new business
  • Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Possession of excellent client facilitation and analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design , Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development, S.O.L.I.D. principles, or Implementing Design Patterns
