Logistics Specialist

Key Role:

Develop and implement logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to enhance product flow. Provide analytical support for the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve preferred delivery times and order fill rates. Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports. Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers. Apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to the completion of difficult assignments. Confer with your superior on unusual matters.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in working with construction engineering

-Experience in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of basic Military Construction (MILCON) or facilities construction

-Ability to coordinate with government organizations, analyze facility life cycle costs, and perform business case analysis

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Project

-Program Management Professional Certification or Professional Engineer Designation
