Summer Games Program Recruiting Lead

Key Role:
Play a key role in empowering people to change the world while enabling our firmwide internship program participants to find exciting and innovative ways to solve our clients' biggest problems. Lead the effort to help us find the brightest minds for inclusion in our Summer Games and manage this collaborative program that attracts thousands of applicants for several hundred slots each year. Work closely with the campus recruiting teams, cultivate key relationships with universities, strategic partners and vendors, internal business partners, and the broader talent acquisition team, engage with key stakeholders across the organization to promote the Summer Games program, socialize program guidelines, and identify senior leaders to champion the program and mentor Summer Games interns. Lead a team of talent acquisition professionals responsible for recruiting candidates for Booz Allen's Summer Games program and matching candidates to challenges and partner with University Recruiting peers on business needs to build a competitive campus strategy and meet hiring goals. Manage the annual program kick-off, intern orientation, and final event and coordinate with the University Program Channel Lead and University Lead to execute recruitment strategies designed to attract and retain university candidates. Develop recruitment plans to transition candidates from Summer Games interns to permanent employees and ensure team and activities adhere to budget. Coach and mentor aligned team members by establishing clear expectations, defining roles and responsibilities, outlining the path to success, and holding them accountable for providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-7+ years of experience with recruiting

-Experience with campus recruiting and recruiting summer interns 

-Experience with developing and leading a dynamic summer internship program in a corporate organization

-Experience with leveraging data to diagnose opportunities and drive solutions

-Ability to build credibility, influence, and consult with all levels in the organization

-Ability to work in a highly collaborative culture leveraging high influence expertise without direct resources or authority

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in the government contracting industry

-Possession of excellent project management, analytical. and quantitative skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including listening
