Navigation Project Manager

Key Role:

Provide project management, technical or programmatic support for Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) engineering and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Apply expertise in US Navy Navigation Systems, Geospatial Information and Services (GIS), or a comparable US Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber-Defense, and Combat Systems and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) system. Provide a range of engineering and technical support services, including certifying US Navy surface and sub-surface Navigation Systems as ready for use, providing system troubleshooting support services for all aspects of US Navy Navigation, originating and maintaining all aspects of logistic documentation, designing, fabricating, and testing prototype or experimental navigation systems, testing new and evolving navigation technology, and assisting with ship alteration efforts, where required. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers. Define requirements, analyze project plans, lead the oversight of technical support teams, and monitor and control contract performance, and submit contract deliverables. Provide day to day performance management and leadership to team members.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with contract management, including developing program acquisition documentation, testing criteria, corrective action systems, and a program monitoring approach and analyzing program health, conducting data collection and analysis, and developing cost estimates and program status reports

-Experience in one of following areas: US Navy Navigation Systems, Geospatial Information and Services (GIS), or a US Navy C6ISR system

-Experience with leading and developing project teams

-Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

-Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures

-Ability to adapt and excel in a culture with a high degree of ambiguity

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD or Department of Navy (DON) programs

-Possession of excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Business Administration or a related technical field

Clearance:
