The Opportunity:

As a professional in the Delivery Hub, Booz Allen’s Shared Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight into performance.

As part of the Delivery Hub, you will be a leader on the Business Services team. In this role, you will provide direct leadership to the Accounts Payable team, overseeing the processing of invoices and payments and managing expense accounts and budget reports.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Applying knowledge and understanding of Financial Accounting and internal controls related to the day-to-day Accounts Payable operations.

  • Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating, analyzing, and reporting of financial results.

  • Monitoring KPIs and implementing necessary steps to increase efficiency within the procure-to-pay (P2P) process.

  • Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Companys Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense policies in accordance with GAAP, DCAA, IFRS, and corporate policy.

  • Formulating business strategy and guiding the progress of projects while mentoring staff.

  • Identifying, qualifying, prioritizing, and implementing process improvements to meet Accounts Payable needs.

  • Identifying underperforming processes and working with stakeholders to design and implement improvements.

  • Modeling company values, ensuring company compliance with all requirements, and auditing shared services processes.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with leading accounts payable operations

  • 4+ years of experience with government contracting

  • Experience in interacting and coordinating with colleagues in internal departments

  • Experience with ensuring accurate and timely disbursement, accounting treatment, and financial results

  • Experience with financial systems, financial analysis and reporting, financial record keeping, and general ledger systems

  • Experience in coaching and motivating employees

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in leading business process improvements by identifying, analyzing, and improving business processes to optimize performance, improve end-user experience, and scale for growth

  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements, including identifying and documenting key controls and processes and supporting internal controls testing

  • HS diploma or GED

             
Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with using iValua, Concur, and Deltek Costpoint

  • Experience with system implementations

  • Experience with leading complex and strategic work confidentially and accurately

  • Ability to optimize cash management to improve financial results

  • Ability to use multiple applications and databases in a fast-paced environment

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
