Experimentation Analyst

Key Role:

Help experimentation planning teams design, execute, and analyze fleet experiments exploring innovative naval concepts and technologies. Leverage expertise in the development of required data collection and analysis plans, analytical tools, and identifies requirements for technical measurements. Coordinates, facilitates and oversees all aspects of the data collection effort. Analyzes the data and results to draw conclusions regarding the significance of event outcomes within the experimentation context. Assist in the preparation of post-experiment reports and presentations that summarize experiment results, findings, and insights.

Basic Requirements:

  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on the statistical analysis capabilities of Excel
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% and embark Navy ships, submarines, and aircraft
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in military or government civil service
  • Experience in working on a numbered Fleet headquarters, Maritime Operations Center, carrier or expeditionary strike group staff, Navy tactical training group, or Warfighting Development Center
  • Experience with Department of Defense military experimentation, wargaming, modeling and simulation, and test and evaluation

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
