Information Operations Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Provide support to naval war games or exercises that educate and train Fleet units, including Numbered Fleet and Strike Group staff. Provide realistic representations of US and potential adversary forces' capabilities and tactics, techniques, and procedures for Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) and information operations (IO) planning and support the development of a concept of operations for use in these events. Work in a close team environment across multiple events. This role includes travel for short duration trips, including overseas.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with Information Operations/Information Warfare planning and policy
  • Experience as a US Navy Cryptologic Officer
  • Experience with Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) and Information Operations (IO) at the Carrier Strike Group or higher headquarters level or Directed Fleet IO Planning Cells planning and employing information capabilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel overseas
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience as a Numbered Fleet N39
  • Experience with computer network operations at joint component command, combatant command, or higher
  • MA or MS degree
  • Graduate of War College
