SHARP Customer Support Representative, Mid

Key Role:

Prioritize, document, and respond rapidly to any client–reported issues of application or system malfunction. Monitor, troubleshoot, and coordinate network issues and data flow problems from the Afloat version to Defense Readiness Report System (DRRS–N) and support installations and upgrades of the application on Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) and Common PC Operating System Environment (COMPOSE) networks, whether in port, afloat, or in the shipyard. Mentor and instruct users and aviation command staff on the set up and use of a DoD training and readiness software application, serving as a liaison between clients and system developers to communicate client needs to a technical team. Create custom reports, facilitate personnel profile and personnel experience transfers, and perform database upgrades. Provide unit and individual readiness analyses and unit historical analysis and gather aircraft carrier training metrics.

Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge and technical access to appropriate internal resources. Perform database upgrades and personnel profile transfers and create custom reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with naval aviation operations or maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience with system administration of Windows servers and client laptops, including installation, configuration, backup management, hardware or software troubleshooting, and the deployment and replication of applications or databases
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast–paced environment with aggressive project time–lines and continual client delivery
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the SHARP Enterprise Suite, including SHARP, CV-SHARP, ADW, ACTS/SHARP LMS, and T-SHARP
  • Experience with software development processes, relational databases, SQL, and IIS
  • Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BA or BS degree
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Microsoft MCSE, MCSA, and MCDST Certification preferred
