Supplier Services Procurement Director

The Opportunity:

As a member of the Supplier Services Team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, management oversight, and operational excellence to support the transformation of the Global Supply Chain. Your role encompasses leading and coaching the Supplier Services Team, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will drive process improvements, facilitate effective communication, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement function. 

How You’ll Contribute

  • Lead and successfully execute complex strategic initiatives aimed at transforming the Global Supply Chain team. 

  • Utilize metrics and analytics to provide insights to senior management, enabling informed decisions for continuous improvement. 

  • Leverage KPIs and performance metrics to drive process optimization and enhance operational performance. 

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Supplier Services Teams, ensuring timely and accurate processing of requests while adhering to compliance policies and federal regulations. 

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders within the Global Supply Chain to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks and related documents. 

  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners. 

  • Build and maintain organizational capability through employee development and coaching, ensuring all team members adhere to the firm's policies and procedures. 

  • Communicate policy updates and documentation to keep stakeholders informed and ensure compliance across the Supplier Services function.

You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience in leadership and management roles in procurement or supplier management

  • Experience working with leadership to analyze, prepare, and summarize performance, manage service delivery levels, develop recommendations, and problem solve 

  • Experience leading through others, developing strong leaders, and effectively managing change 

  • Experience in end-to-end business process optimization enabling improved efficiency, enhanced end-user experience, higher quality results, performance monitoring, and reduced costs 

  • Experience with Contractor Purchasing System Review Requirements (CPSR) 

  • Experience with negotiating nondisclosure agreements (NDAs)  

  • Knowledge of Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 

  • Ability to leverage data and metrics for decision-making and process optimization

  • Ability to lead and execute complex strategic initiatives aimed at process improvement and transformation 

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience leading a procurement organization 

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar workflow system 

  • Experience with Ivalua 

  • Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI

  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders

  • Possession of excellent analytical skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred; Master's degree a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
