The Opportunity:

As a logistics engineer, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. What if you could use your logistics expertise and process improvement experience towards developing capabilities for the Department of Defense (DoD)? As a logistics engineer, you have a clear understanding of key program management requirements and processes required to ensure the logistics and sustainment strategies can be properly planned and executed. We need your skills to help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.

As a logistics engineer on our team, you’ll help develop new DoD capabilities by integrating prototype capabilities and technologies for specific work aligned to Cyber, Space, and special operations mission capability areas. You’ll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with complex integrated systems and understanding of material specifications are essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with conducting logistics planning and sustainment
  • Knowledge of DoD life cycle product support policies
  • Ability to manage and oversee life cycle of products including preparation, shipping, and receiving
  • Ability to provide support with the maintenance of logistics policies
  • Ability to administer and maintain inventory control program systems
  • Ability to coordinate across the organization to promote accurate and timely processing of orders
  • Ability to develop status reports
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Level II Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $58,000 to $97,400.
