Reliability Centered Maintenance Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Analyze and maintain preventative maintenance procedures. Apply technical writing skills to interpret engineering drawings and to write preventive maintenance procedures. Apply and insert maintenance experience doing inspections, tests, repairs, or overhauls of systems/equipment into preventative maintenance procedures. Research necessary test measurement and diagnostics equipment, common tools, and calibration requirements, including electronic test equipment, lifting devices, material handling equipment, and precision measuring equipment required to perform maintenance actions. Document procedures in Navy Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs), per MIL-STD-3034A Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with analyzing maintenance procedures or technical manuals

  • Experience with reading engineering drawings and performing research of maintenance documentation, materials, parts, tools, and test equipment 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word

  • Ability to write technical content independently  

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with creating Navy MRC/MIPs or technical manuals

  • Experience with Navy Maintenance Processes

  • Knowledge of performing maintenance on U.S. Military Systems or DoD Supply Systems

  • Secret clearance

  • Associate's degree preferred; Master's degree a plus in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Physical Science, Manufacturing or Production Management

  • Navy RCM Certification
