Training Delivery Services Network Administrator, Mid

The Challenge:

We’re looking for a network administrator with a solid background in installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining routers, switches, wireless controllers and access points. You’ll help us to maintain, modernize, and secure our military client’s training network.

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available. You’ll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in enterprise network operations. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You Have:

-3+ years of experience in working with system administration

-Experience in working with Cisco IOS, including installing, configuring, and maintaining routers and switches

-Ability to perform troubleshooting, reviewing logs, and patching

-Ability to build, configure, and maintain Cisco network equipment within compliance standards

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-CompTIA Security+ Certification

-Ability to obtain Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment Certification within 180 days of hire

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with system administration supporting DoD network systems

-Experience in working with Aruba wireless solutions

-Experience with scripting in MS PowerShell

-Knowledge of DoD security compliance auditing, DoD hardening, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

-Knowledge of information security, including systems and network security, best practices, documentation, and user authentication

-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering

-Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment Certification
