Target Analyst

The Challenge:

Threats to the country and its military are constantly evolving and becoming more complex. What if you could apply your expertise as a target analyst to mitigating these evolving threats and contributing to the security of our nation’s vital military resources in the Pacific region? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to collect, organize, and present data concisely to clients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  If you have professional experience in counterintelligence or human intelligence programs, along with a “can do” mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to help enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of a military organizations within the US Pacific Command’s (PACOM) area of responsibility. 

As a target analyst, you will provide Intermediate Target Development (ITD) analysis and production of threat platforms and organizations to support operational planning and targeting efforts. Research all-source reporting to produce finished intelligence products and coordinate all analytical products to support national-level organizations and theaters staff for dissemination across tactical, operational, and strategic environments. Recommend target prioritization in accordance with Combatant Command objectives for plans and operations, conduct collateral damage estimation and target list management, and provide Joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.

You Have:

-3+ years of experience with targeting intelligence support

-5+ years of experience with operational and technical military planning, development, coordination, and execution of Joint, Coalition and Service participation in Combatant Command (CCMD) operations, exercises, demonstrations, experiments, and real-world operations

-Experience with working in the South Korean Theater of Operations

-Active TS/SCI clearance

·BA or BS degree

-Intermediate Target Development (ITD) Certification

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB)

-Experience with Joint intermediate target development

-Experience with Joint tools

-Experience with the Joint Targeting Toolbox

-Experience with battle damage assessments

-Experience with collateral damage estimates

-Knowledge of Joint Planning Targeting


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
