Cyber Patriot Intern

Key Role:

Work as part of an innovative team working in various aspects of the Cybersecurity field. Participate in Cybersecurity training courses, researching and organizing best practices for incident detection and response activities, audio, and video recording of training materials. Learn to build lab exercises in a virtual machine environment to train specific Cybersecurity tasks. Assist with programming and scripting, while learning to work with hardware and software for a Raspberry Pi and various aspects of the software development life cycle. Interview subject matter experts to gather Cybersecurity best practices and work on research projects for the Cyber Proving Ground. Learn and apply Agile project planning, and other tasks and training in the Cybersecurity field.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with studying programming languages or networking for one or more semesters
-Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-Pursuing a BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with computer or network security coursework
-Experience with telecommunications coursework

-Knowledge of engineering, programming, and software testing principles

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-TS/SCI clearance 
-Information Assurance Certification
