As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design large-scale, complex data and power systems in support of the Navy’s Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) mission. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize future undersea communications and warfare systems. You’ll develop your skills in systems engineering or systems design while gaining experience in Navy ASW missions, customer and vendor integration, and large-scale systems engineering as part of a DoD acquisition program. You Have:

-4+ years of experience with managing and conducting system engineering processes, technical reviews, and generation and evaluation of system requirements

-Experience in an industry or engineering project team environment

-Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite software, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

-Experience with using drafting software packages for development of logical or system diagrams, including Visio

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with long-haul communications solutions, including synchronous optical networking (SONET) technologies

-Experience with optical communications architectures, designs, and equipment or components

-Experience with supporting a Navy system development or an acquisition organization

-Experience with applying Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools, including MagicDraw

-Knowledge of Navy shore installation processes and procedures, including the Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) and Base Electronic System Engineering Plan (BESEP)

-Knowledge of power distribution systems

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills for working and leading in a diverse team environment

-BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related preferred; MS degree a plus

I-NCOSE Systems Engineering Certifications, including CSEP or ASEP

Clearance:
