Counter–Improvised Explosive Device Training Integration Cell Lead

Key Role:

Direct and coordinate the activities of the ARCENT CTIC and provide team oversight and Subject Matter Expertise on C-IED, EOD, and Forensic Exploitation (FE) concepts, procedures, and policies, including Army and Joint Service EOD Doctrine to support planning, operations, and training. Coordinate with operational commands, force providers, and unified action partners on C-IED, EOD, and FE training, equipping, and resourcing. Manage team participation in all Army C-IED Integrated Process Team (IPT) meetings and forums, including AO working groups, Councils of Colonels, General Officer Steering Committees, and sub working groups. Analyze and contribute to other appropriate forums where C-IED equities are discussed, including AR2B or Warfighter SIG. Assist the command with developing critical documents that address C-IED and emerging threat equities, including US Army Central Command Training Guidance, Theater Entry Training Requirements, ONS, and JUONS. Manage team efforts in Exercise Planning and Development to ensure IED and other Asymmetric and Emergent threats are represented where appropriate to ensure Command and Exercise objectives are achieved. Interpret and analyze data derived from numerous sources to identify resources, conceptualize innovative solutions, reconcile diverse viewpoints, and articulate problems and proposals. 

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in the US Military at the Senior NCO, WO, field grade, or a higher level

-3+ years of experience with working on C-IED-related programs or activities

-3+ years of experience in Army and DoD resource management with budgeting or execution

-Active Top Secret clearance

-Bachelor’s degree

-Graduate of a US Military senior leader course, WO advanced course, or Intermediate Level   

-Senior Service College

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with on Staff with supporting COL/GS-15 or higher led offices.

-Experience with Combat deployment

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Experience with deploying within the CENTCOM AoR for up to 25% of time

-Ability to perform shift work, including weekends and holidays

-Ability to wear Personal Protective Gear for an extended period of time

-Possession of excellent written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills

-Master's degree
