Explosive Device/C-IED Training Integrator

Key Role:

Provide Subject Matter Expertise on C-IED, EOD, and Forensic Exploitation (FE) concepts, procedures, and policies, including Army and Joint Service EOD Doctrine to support planning, operations, and training. Coordinate with operational commands, force providers and unified action partners on C-IED, EOD, and FE training, equipping and resourcing. Participate in all Army C-IED Integrated Process Team (IPT), meetings and forums, including AO working groups, Councils of Colonels, General Officer Steering Committees, and sub working groups and participate in and contribute to other appropriate forums where C-IED equities are discussed, including AR2B or Warfighter SIG. Engage in the development of documents that address C-IED and emerging threat training equities, including US Army Central Command Training Guidance, Theater Entry Training Requirements, ONS, and JUONS. Engage in Exercise Planning and Development to ensure IED and other Asymmetric and Emergent threats are represented to ensure Command and Exercise objectives are achieved, where appropriate. Interpret and analyze data derived from numerous sources to identify resources, conceptualize innovative solutions, reconcile diverse viewpoints, and articulate problems and proposals. Produce reports, including information on observations, theater specific perspectives, best practices, and lessons learned.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with the US Military as a senior NCO or Officer

-2+ years of experience with working on C-IED-related programs or activities

-Experience with serving on a Brigade or higher-level staff

-Active Top Secret clearance
-Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Combat deployment

-Experience with deploying in the CENTCOM AOR for up to 25% of time

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Ability to perform shiftwork, including weekends and holidays, not to exceed 40hrs (CONUS) and 72hrs (OCONUS) in a week

-Ability to wear Personal Protective Gear for an extended period of time

-Possession of excellent written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills
