Geospatial Analysis and Analytic Trainer

Key Role:

Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Employ instructional technology in instruction and training, including Blackboard. Conduct assessment strategies in accordance with course design, including instructor observation, testing, grading, and providing formal and informal student feedback. Apply subject matter expertise in the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Teach instructional courses and apply expertise in developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations. Leverage expertise in GEOINT sciences, technology, and data science. This position requires the ability to travel 50% of the time. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a deployed GEOINT analyst
  • Experience with ESRI software suites, including ArcMap 10+, ArcGIS Pro and extensions, QT Modeler ELTs, such as RemoteView or SOCET GXP, and QGIS
  • Experience as a geospatial analysis instructor and trainer, including analytic deployment training
  • Experience in a government operating environment, including the intelligence community (IC) and DoD
  • Knowledge of geospatial data and imagery analysis, including how to use image science, analytic methods, data science, opens source research, and human geography to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce GEOINT
  • Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • HS diploma and 6 years of experience in a professional work environment or military environment or BA or BS degree and 3 years of experience in a professional work environment or military environment

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as a deployed GEOINT analyst at the Tactical or Strategic Level
  • Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a US government agency
  • MA or MS degree
  • Course instruction or teaching Certification a plus

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
