Key Role:
Serve as part of the Booz Allen Team that supports future Joint development of military capabilities for multiple combatant command and coalition clients. Plan and execute campaigns of experimentation to provide coordinated review and validation of Joint concepts and concepts of operations (CONOPS), concept-required capabilities, capabilities-based assessments (CBA), and other-directed studies. Participate in workgroups, exercises, experiments, and wargames to integrate Joint capabilities and requirements, support CONOPs development, CBA, Joint capabilities integration, and development system documentation, including using constructed scenarios and vignettes, data collection, data reduction, and analysis, and prepare reports and briefing materials. Provide briefings at planning conferences of various sizes and culminate findings in clear succinct reporting that will be actionable to managers and fellow planners. Assist with the development of operating concepts, campaign plans, and supporting briefs and analyses by performing research, course of action analysis, and coordination among key internal and external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
-15 years of experience as a field grade officer in military operations
-Experience with planning, executing, and facilitating exercises, wargames and experiments, as a team lead conducting studies, developing capabilities, and evaluating capabilities
-Experience with technical writing of concept documents and formal experiment reports
-Knowledge of Joint concepts, including concept framework, DoD transformation, and computer operations and associated software, including Microsoft Windows and Office suite
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with operating on a combatant command, Joint, or Service headquarters staff
-Experience with working in operational experimentation and using stochastic simulations
-Ability to respond accurately and quickly to internal and external staff tasking, develop and coordinate detailed staff packages, develop concise reports for briefings, and deliver them to senior DoD leaders
-Ability to effectively interpret the intent of a client’s needs and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with senior managers and coordinate with partners in oral and written formats effectively
Clearance:
