Joint Forces Military Financial Planner, Mid

Key Role:

Support joint force development by providing expertise in highly specialized financial, programmatic, and business analysis environments to support senior management business decisions. Apply specific functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, data entry, analysis of data, and knowledge of program management and finance. Participate in the identification, analysis, and evaluation of policy and processes related to DoD training initiatives. Plan, coordinate, and support meetings and planning events involving worldwide participants to improve the use of joint training resources. Contribute to the resolution of complex programmatic and financial problems using analytic judgment and proven analytic practices. Work independently with some guidance and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and coordinating government reports and responses

  • Experience in business and accounting processes and policy

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to measure and improve program effectiveness and productivity

  • Secret clearance

  • Associate's degree

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting military headquarters or government agencies in program financial management

  • Knowledge of pertinent laws, policies, regulations, and precedents related to joint training programs and related resources

  • Ability to effectively interpret the intent of a client’s needs and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities

  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Clearance:
