FMS Procurement Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Research and negotiate major organizational contracts and procurements. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with supporting a DoD client
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales management and financial systems, including DSAMS, MISIL, SCIP, and CEPT
  • Knowledge of DoD procedures and programs associated with FMS cases, as specified in the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), including FMS case Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) and the processes for LOA, modification, and amendment development
  • Secret clearance
  • AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Foreign Military Sales support in a Navy program office
  • Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • BA or BS degree
  • Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) Basic or Intermediate Certification in SC Planning, Oversight, & Execution Management, SC Case Life Cycle Management, SC Execution Support Management, or SC Acquisition Management

requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
