UX Strategist Intern

You will serve as the user’s advocate throughout the product design and development process and provide critical user-centric insight that informs product strategy. You’ll apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. You will develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

You Have:

  • Experience with UX research or UX design
  • Experience with user research or user testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of industry standard prototyping tools, including Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq, or InVision
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships in a team-based government or professional services environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)-related field by Spring 2023 to Winter 2024

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams throughout a software development process on Agile, Waterfall, or Lean
  • Experience with remote facilitation platforms, including Mural or Miro
  • Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams who have a background in the Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) fields
  • Ability to scope out vague tasks effectively and execute them with other team members

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
