You will familiarize the client with the best tools, processes, and training to impact U.S. Navy operations. You will deliver an interactive course that teaches critical tradecraft, which requires a real passion for understanding the needs of your customer. We have an opportunity for an instructor and system operator who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges in national security by crafting and delivering effective training focused on the problems encountered with Electromagnetic Interference.
On our team, you will work with Subject Matter Experts who are fellow instructors to identify and address your customer’s training needs by recommending learning solutions to help them accomplish their training objectives. You will leverage your subject matter expertise in Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Space-Based Operations, SATCOM Technical capabilities, Electronic Warfare, and the Electromagnetic Interference Resolution Process, which includes naturally occurring and man-made Interference and SATCOM signal characterization tools. You will support the customer as a member of ashore and afloat mobile training and SATCOM EMI transmission teams providing training directly to U.S. Navy Sailors. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you will design and deliver classroom and on-the-job training. You will facilitate virtual and in-person classroom training, including practice scenarios and hands on training. You will also design, develop, implement, and evaluate new and existing courseware in preparation for deployment readiness exercises. To ensure your solution is hitting the mark, you’ll collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model and collaborate with U.S. Navy customers and fellow instructors to fine tune training for maximum impact. We focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers, so you’ll learn new tools and skills to develop a creative learning experience that will engage students. This position will require travel up to 25% of the time; some travel will be required aboard U.S. Navy ships at sea.

You Have:
Experience with technical and operational SATCOM
Experience with live classroom training
Knowledge of SATCOM and GPS fundamentals
Knowledge of published SATCOM and electromagnetic interference (EMI) policy and doctrine
Ability to interact, instruct, and mentor junior personnel on SATCOM operations
Ability to present and instruct material in a classroom and in a hands-on environment
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
