Electromagnetic Warfare Planner

The Opportunity:

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.

As an Electromagnetic Warfare Planner, you’ll bring your subject matter expertise to conduct, coordinate, and integrate EW analysis and planning to support special operations plans, operations, activities, and targeting processes or systems on projects for Department of Defense (DoD) clients. You’ll integrate all aspects of EW, including electronic support, protection, and attack, to bilateral and multi-lateral engagements, exercises, and local training or force protection activities. You’ll develop, assess, coordinate, and recommend EW planning and operations courses of action for Commander approval and implementation in CONOPS, OPLANS, CONPLANS, and OPORDs, and deliver information and decision briefs to client senior leaders, higher headquarters, and external stakeholders.

You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to provide recommendations to integrate and deconflict EW and signature reduction with cyberspace, spectrum management, and other operations during maneuver, targeting, fires, and force protection. You’ll coordinate the development of EW policy papers and intelligence support to EW plans and operations, and conduct direct interaction between internal Command elements and external organizations for analysis and planning evolutions during crisis planning, contingency planning, and execution. You'll produce efficiencies and maintain situational awareness for the command by coordinating laterally with a network of EW military and civilian professionals throughout the European area of operations, other Combatant Commands, and the DoD.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

  • 5+ years of experience with EW policy, planning, and operational and programmatic work

  • Experience assisting with coordinating the development of EW policy papers and providing input on strategic and operational plans independently, including writing EW tabs for OPLANs, CONPLANs, operational concepts, CONOPs, and OPORDS
  • Experience integrating EW and psychological operations, military deception, cyberspace operations, spectrum management operations, and signature reduction programs during maneuver, targeting, fires, and force protection
  • Experience coordinating for intelligence support to EW plans and operations
  • Knowledge of adversary EW capabilities
