QA Tester and Automation Engineer

The Opportunity: 

As a quality assurance specialist, you'll work with the software development team members to provide manual testing as well as support development of automated regression testing for multiple apps across multiple platforms within the public health realm. You'll review, develop, implement, and execute testing and documentation based on requirements of processes, products, and deliverables. 

Using analysis of established program documentation, you’ll generate problem resolutions and track quality assurance standards to observe how the organizational processes and products are measured, then document the results and communicate defects to the functional teams so they can start improving any non-compliant issues. You'll expand upon your experience in various types of process improvement to include sharing best practices, metrics analysis, expansion of automated testing capabilities, and lessons learned. This is an opportunity to broaden your skills in documenting and solving system and process deficiencies.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with quality assurance

  • Experience with manual and automated testing of web applications and frameworks

  • Experience with project management tool Azure DevOps

  • Experience with Azure or Cloud service providers

  • Experience with programming languages commonly used for test automation, including Python, Java, or JavaScript

  • Experience with setting up and running automated regression tests in tools, including Selenium or Katalon

  • Knowledge of API testing and software testing methodologies and best practices

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with testing data-intensive applications and chat systems

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or Power Platform

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
